1) Imagining a Geographical Presence: A Study of Horizon in Contemporary Painting by Ng Joon Kiat

The first realised project under the Ignite series, Imagining a Geographical Presence is an exhibition that draws upon the history of mapping, specifically restored maps of Singapore 1819 to 1965.

In 2001, Joon Kiat received a Shell-National Arts Council scholarshiup to purse a Masters in Fine Arts at Kent Institute of Art and Design, United Kingdom. He has also received other scholarships such as Ericsson and Georgette Chen Scholarships.
